The beauty of this recipe is that it is super easy to make. 1. The first step for this cocktail is to fill a highball glass with ice. Once the ice is in, add the tequila. 2. Next, add your lime juice. 3. After the citrus is in, top the drink with soda water. This cocktail technique is known as the buildup method.. Instructions. Add ice to your favorite cocktail glass (you can salt your rim before adding ice, if desired). Pour tequila over ice. Add three quarters of your soda water, lime wedges and a spritz of lime juice. Mix well. Top with remaining soda water, taste test and add more lime juice if desired. Enjoy!
